Harry: "Your drunk." Harold: "And you're crazy. But I'll be sober tomorrow and you'll be crazy for the rest of your life." One of the memorable sequences of this underrated gem that doesn't need name stars or gross humor to make you laugh. Harold Bissonette would like to give-up his store to got to California. Great lines from the picture: "But after all,it's only human to plan" - Mrs. Dunk "Never thought of me or the children." - Amelia, "We're all liable to make mistakes." - Harold. So may laugh out loud moments. Highlights would include Harold having difficulty in sleeping, the store scene and negotiating a deal for the purchased lot. Kathleen Howard was a great support to the very hilarious W.C. Fields. Despite its humorous content it has some very dark and meaningful insights on the difficulties of providing a family, luck, business negotiations and sticking together. Direction was unbelievably detailed from the settings and gestures to set-up the pranks and jokes. It's a gift may seem dated and too slapstick, i does however tickle your funny bone while making you think.
