A very disappointing crime film that unfortunately has no idea what the film is going for. It at first seems to be a tightly wound character study which might have been great, but instead it adjusts into a very straight forward documentary like film. It lacks a main character which becomes noticeable, since new characters become the most important suddenly who we know almost nothing about. The performance are almost all dull except for Peter Falk is terrific in his role as a violent thug, who steals all his scenes, frankly the film should have been about him but instead it is just a tiresome dull effort.
