It should be said that Twilight almost lives up to the hype everyone seemed to rave about the past few weeks. There were two sides to this movie, the first half provides a more detailed character development. And the second half rendered with all the cheesy parts made me think twice about taking this movie seriously. Because it shows such a completely different point of view about vampires and how they live. I thought to myself the writer of this book is making vampires look bad. Well I did try to like it, but then when last fifteen minutes of film came it ended the movie as quick as possible without me even noticing. Although as I said the first half was very interesting with Bella meeting and falling with Edward, it came to a downward spiral when the absurd scenes came about the halfway mark. The good thing is this movie is acting driven which the lead stars did exceptionally well. The story is almost likeable to my taste, the only problem I had is the supposed nemesis of the vampire clan. It’s really confusing you have to see it yourself. Also the effects were bad, I mean they could’ve done better by this age and time. Overall Twilight would be good if you’re on feminine side, if you’re rough and rugged you would be slightly disappointed with all the cheesiness going on.
