After being thoroughly underwhelmed with Asteroid City, The Phoenician Scheme is a definite step back in the right direction. Though I wouldn't put it as one of my favorites from Wes Anderson, the film once again benefits from an amazing cast, spectacular cinematography and a thoroughly engaging story. The humor is more muted, but still there. Overall, as an Anderson fan, I find this a solid entry but not a personal favorite.
