Polar is like John Wick on club drugs - just as violent but also knows how to have fun. The always-game Mads Mikkelsen steals the show as our blunt anti-hero with Matt Lucas in a hilarious, cartoonish villain role. Nudity, blood a few twists - while it doesn't redefine the genre, it is an entertaining spectacle.
