While 2023 brought plenty of poorly-executed or downright hokey exorcism movies (looking at you Exorcist: Believer and The Pope's Exorcist), Demián Rugna delivers the goods you've been waiting for. A novel idea of a possession that moves like a virus coupled with some truly chilling scenes elevates this beyond a typical horror film. There's a reason this garnered a lot of accolades - it's very deserving and those looking for their horror fix should make it a top pick.
