Damien Leone combines the 80s slasher with the modern torture-porn aesthetic brought to glorious, gory life by David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown - a silent but very, very deadly horror icon that makes Pennywise look like Bozo (or maybe Ronald McDonald?). Lauren LaVerna is also excellent as the ultimate final girl - but her friends aren't so lucky and that includes an extended bedroom death scene that is just over-the-top gore at its finest (I'm guessing this is the scene that caused people to faint and/or throw up if rumors are to be true). Gore hounds, this one is for you.
