When this movie came out i had not heard all the hype and not read the books, the trailer looked ok so i went to see it. Although the story line, effects and acting are nothing groundbreaking i was soon swept up with the story and wanted to go straight back in and watch it. I got home and ordered the books off of the internet, which are obviously written for a younger reader, and even though Meyer's writing is not the best in the world, the story completley absorbed me. I still cannot say what it is about these books or the film that i like so much, but i can't get enough. I am addicted to twilight, and i have to say the casting for the film is perfect, also the soundtrack is one of the best for years. I hope New Moon can live up to it's predicessor.
