I found this film on Amazon Prime. Rennie is the movie we all need. It is hilarious and heartfelt. Shows behind the veil of a found family through the lens of a fish-out-of-water news crew that finds themselves immersed within the love and shenanigans of the annual faire workers.
In the vein of Christopher Guest films, Rennie makes you feel like you're in the room and every character is worth following out of that room. The film also shows diversity without making that the focus. Great writing. Great acting. And just a great time all around. Can't wait to share it with more people. My teenage theater kids will love it.
