Guillermo del Toro is a master, and that is the only reason I saw this movie. That and my friend and I wanted to see a film at the $2 theater in Pasadena. Overall, I liked his flourishes as a director, however the story was weaker than the original Hellboy. I heard today that Mr. del Toro was tied up at Universal until 2017. I hope his next projects will be better. Most likely they will be.
