Sex and the City 2

Predictable

Much of what I am going to say has been said in the previous review, but I'd still like to give it my own spin. First, I want to say that Carrie Bradshaw still reigns as the least likable character on screen. I was so annoyed watching her throughout the movie. I actually almost couldn't stand it when she was on screen, and that was about 97% percent of the time. She is dramatic, spoiled, obnoxious, and ungrateful and I can't stand her.

As for the fashion, it's like the producers said "Oh no De La Renta, so sorry Valentino, maybe next time Versace but you all can keep those designs. We're actually going to let Kimora Lee, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga handle the fashion this time around." A lot of women love this show because of the clothes. This time, I'm not sure what was going on. Aside from the fact that Cythia Nixon actually looked stunning on screen, nothing jumped out at me except for maybe one black and white shirt Samantha had on early in the movie. The fashion was very disappointing.

Good things, there were moments of fun. I wish my girls and I could hop on a plane to Abu Dhabi and get treated like royalty. Also, Kristin Davis. She is the best actor on the show, which is why she ends up in more movies than the rest of them do (not all great movies, but she gets work). Other than that, I don't know. I won't say it was awful. I don't think you can go into this movie expecting to watch a cinematic masterpiece. Their stories have already been told...I think a quick update on their lives is all we needed, but not 2 hours of it. There's not much left to see. I don't think there will be a Sex and the City 3.
