This is quite possibly one the most underrated, un-talked about comedies of the 21st century. Mike Judge has had his ups and downs in his career. Beavis and Butthead was amazing, when I was 11. I watched a handful of episodes about a year ago and was annoyed to no end, it definitely did not stand the test of time for me. Office Space is one of the greatest cult comedies ever made, although its been syndicated so many times I don't know how many people watch it religiously anymore. Anyways, I have loved Idiocracy from my first viewing. The beginning sucked me in with the absolute truth of the human races procreation habits. No one can deny the "stupids" are flooding the planet with there offspring. There are plenty of TV shows showcasing this reality (Maury, Trisha, Springer et cetera) as well as people you know. I don't believe the world will turn out quite as bad as in Idiocracy but it should be viewed as a warning. I have read information on this flick that Fox pulled funds or something similar and it didn't have the ending Judge wanted. The ending is fine in my book, but if I had a Time Masheen id go back and see what his original idea was. If you haven't seen this, find a copy you wont be disappointed.
