Frustrating and frustrating Cold War yarn. I think the movie actually forgets that it had a MacGuffin for a solid half-hour. It looks well shot, but it has very little action. It also has an impressive cast that initially seems interesting. But it gets very muddled and complicated. But every now and then, someone has a clever quip or there is a moment of suspense that works.
