FROM THE BIG SCREEN:
"Spider-Man: Far From Home" is the first post-"Avengers: Endgame" entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the last of MCU Phase Three, and a harbinger for the next phase. Peter Parker (Spider-Man) decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plans to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems. After the incredible carnage of "Endgame," "Spider-Man: Far from Home" is refreshing for being more down-to-earth and humorous. After all, it's just a bunch of kids having fun. Right? Stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei and Jake Gyllenhaal. From Sony.
