Rebel Without a Cause review

Jim Stark (James Dean) is a new student in a high-school. Plato (Sal Mineo) becomes friends with Jim. Stark gets bullied by Buzz Gunderson (Corey Allen). After a "Chickie Run" accident, Judy (Natalie Wood) gets close with Jim. The exciting score brought the picture to life while the screenplay and acting were superb. Wardrobe became iconic. Some quotes: Frank Stark - "Watch out about choosing your pals. You know what I mean? Don't let 'em choose you." It's ridiculous how Plato was shot without pointing a gun which was eventually empty. Furthermore, its a bit baffling how easily Jim forgets about his father's shortcomings. James Dean resonates and shows promise. Rebel Without A Cause is a good drama about teenagers coming of age, choosing the right friends, looking for an identity, loneliness and forgiveness.
