You Don't Know Jack

Keep it up HBO

Another solid effort from HBO, this one about Dr. Jack Kevorkian. The story mostly follows Kevorkian during the 90s, when he started engaging in physician assisted suicide up until his trial. The direction is pretty good, especially in scenes where Kevorkian administers his lethal doses. Real videos from his interviews with his patients are also used which add to the film's realism. There's a strong supporting cast here, though I think Brenda Vaccaro as Kevorkian's sister is the standout. The only downside is that it runs nearly 2 and half hours long, and by that time Kevorkian's, or Pacino's, schtick runs a little tiring.
