Just because it's SET in the 80s doesn't mean it has to feel like it's FROM the 80s. If you couldn't tell from the title, "Lucy in the Sky" is a cornball melodrama with no control of its story. The pretentious style and distracting changes in aspect ratio work with its sheer lack of discipline to perfect this piece of pseudo-intellectual trash.
