Life After High School

Lots of the cast members went on to do many other things, but I think they all peaked early, with this nice little gem. Kevin Bacon, Ellen Barkin, Daniel Stern, Mickey Rourke, Steve Guttenberg. It's great to listen to them trying to adjust to life after high school. Their conversations draw you in, whether they're mundane or (at least to them) profound. It's sometimes in the images and dialogue of this movie that I look back on the late night conversations my pals and I had at Denny's as we faced changes in our lives.
