A film that hardly made a peep in theaters before quietly heading to home release and it's obvious why. With its heady political bent, Anniversary is eerily accurate in how things play out given its release date. While things are twisted just enough not to be a complete MAGA parallel - you can easily see how it was shaped. Granted, the people that SHOULD watch this film never will and even then wouldn't likely process how very real this film seems. Much like last year's Civil War the story is gripping, characters all too real and, sadly, hits too close to home.
