A horror movie packed with so many cliches, It would fill a whole review just listing them. Stupid kids, broken-down cars, wild animals, mutant/zombie things, increasingly bad decisions and promptly ridiculous ending. I've seen worse, but there is so much better to be found out there.

I started off really liking this movie but after Uri was killed off the movie kinda went a little downhill for me & Paul was 1 of those people that you meet in life that you know you're going to hate from the start. There were times where I just wanted to yell at the screen "Shut Up Paul!!! & the rest of the characters weren't all that interesting.Chernobyl Diaries was an OK movie that for some reason kept me in suspense but could've been a whole lot better than what it was if only it didn't end the way it did (I didn't realize Jesse McCartney was in this flick until I started doing this review)

This could be considered a zombie-horror movie, with a feeling of found-footage. When I got this movie, I expected a very cheesey and poorly made movie with terrible actors and terrible scare scenes. What I got was actors who were decent for a horror movie, a movie with good effects and good directing. I might be alone on this, but for a horror movie, which I usually hate; and a zombie movie, which I usually love..... This was a good movie.

Chernobyl Diaries review

A combination of a very poor blair witch project (in terms of usage of darkness) and dawn of the dead (premise of radiation). Friends Chris (Jesse McCartney), his girlfriend Natalie (Olivia Taylor Dudley), brother Paul (Jonathan Sadowski) and Amanda (Devin Kelley) travel to Europe. Paul was able to get a nice deal from Uri (Dimitri Diatchenko) to go to a town near Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Mysterious things occur and the animals act unusually in the deserted town. So many flaws such as the gun appearing in Paul's hand again after leaving it with his brother, the cellphone left but on the recorded video it was still moving, etc. As always in most horror flicks, the characters act dumb like Zoe (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) who couldn't cross but were not chased by the rabid dogs. Pace wa...

Dear Diary..

I mistakenly thought this was an “FFF” (Found Footage Film) and I have to say, it probably would have been far more interesting if it had been. Which isn't saying much.

A young couple (Chris and Natalie) and their third wheel friend (Amanda) travel abroad for a European vacation. While stopping over in Kiev, they meet up with Chris's screw-up of a brother, Paul, who convinces them that, NO, they don't want to go to Moscow tomorrow as they'd planned! They'd totally rather go on an “extreme tour” of the abandoned town of Pripyat, a stone's throw from the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant. What could be more exciting than the threat of a little radiation poisoning?! Ooh-rah!

So they hook up with an extreme tour guide named Yuri. Another couple, Zoe and Michael, from Norway and Australia, respec...

Do yourself a favor and rent Hills Have Eyes!!!!

Ugh! By far one of the worst movies i have seen. Although the trailer makes it look quite brilliant, i guess that's what they are supposed to do to fill the seats? Casting on this was complete crap, i dont mind casting no names if they are good no names..these people couldnt act their way out of a wet paper bag! Storyline was also complete rubbish. A bunch of kids who are touring through The Soviet Union happily until one of them meets a hack tourist guy who promises to get them into the quarantined area of Chernobyl, so he convinces the rest of the group that i would be fun to see all the broken down homes and buildings. Unfortunatly upon getting there some unseen force has removed their distributor cap and adjoining cables so the travel guide 'Uri' can no longer drive them out of ther...
