Grudge Match

Grudge Match
2/4 stars

Although being overdone as far as storylines are concerned I have to say this was an enjoyable watch. Great cast selected by director Peter Segal (Get Smart, The Longest Yard, 50 First Dates) especially Alan Arkin who portrays Lightning Razor's (Stallone) lifelong trainer in the film. Arkin is always an enjoyable presence onscreen. Quite a few hu...

Great Gatsby, The (2013) Review comment

Hey Leo is still in my top 5 actors of all time list and this review is no where near a diss on his acting abilities however maybe I should've stated that I didn't care for some of the movies he has done...

What has he really ever missed on? I can't really think of any movie besides Body of Lies in which he is not great in.

Star Trek Into Darkness Review comment

Star Trek Into Darkness is one of those films that is extremely enjoyable to watch, but a day later I wanted to see it again because of things that did not quite add up. Plot developments of the movie vs. the TV show didn't bother me since I was never a fan of the original series. Insignificant details like the father-daughter characters. Why is one British and the other not? Why did the doctor need Khan's blood to save Jim when he knew how to open the capsules? I will enjoy repeated viewings of this movie, just like I still have repeated viewings of J.J. Abrams first Star Trek.

Avengers, The (2012) Review comment

It's refreshing to finally read a negative review of this film. I personally enjoyed the movie, but I've been kind of fed up with all of the praise. It's about time somebody disliked this movie.

End of Watch Review comment

Totally enjoyed this from start to the tragic (and realistic, no fairy tale Hollywood endings) conclusion. So glad I was able to see this. Cool review! Wish we had cops like that here! hahaha

Too bad The Impossible wasn't that recognized in the Oscars. Truly underrated. Saw your Gangster Squad review, gotta check that out since I dig gangster/mafia related flicks. Good day!
