"Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here." Matthew McConaughey is Cooper, a father to Murph, who is also a very skilled pilot. Music, cinematography spectacular visual effects, intelligent writing and the brilliant acting of McConaughey has made this lengthy picture enjoyable. It was like a crossbreed of 2001 A Space Odyssey and Inception with touches of Back to the Future II. t's minor misgivings were the pace, lack of detail with the year (would have been nice if the timeline was indicated to show the various time travels and locations of where they exactly they were). It was refreshing to see the director use more emotion than action this time around. His venture into science fiction was definitely successful and maybe he can add more plot and action if he decides to create another sci-fi. Notable quotes: "Absolute honesty isn't always the most diplomatic nor the safest form of communication with emotional beings." by TARS, "Murphy's law doesn't mean that something bad will happen. It means that whatever can happen, will happen." and "And if we don't want to repeat of the excess and wastefulness of the 20th Century then we need to teach our kids about this planet, not tales of leaving it." by Ms. Kelly. Obviously the lesson here is to love our planet by taking care of it, possibility of impossibilities and love (daughter and the future).
