An imaginative cinematic experience. Christopher Nolan's time and space epic has its flaws, but it also has what too few of his films have: a true emotional core.

The best special f/x was when the spaceship went through the spherical wormhole. But the teseract business was incomprehensible. Matt Damnon had no business being in this movie. And they should have made the saviours an alien race instead of people from the distant future.

Interesting sci-fi epic but still not stellar....

Christopher Nolan's incredibly ambitious science fiction blockbuster INTERSTELLAR tries to apply hard science technobabble to earnest Hollywood schmaltz. Matthew McConaughey is not merely an ace pilot and astronaut exploring uncharted reaches of outer space but he's doing it because he's a family man looking out for his children back home on Earth.
It's worth a look mainly due to Christopher Nolan flexing his muscles as a technical genius and also McConaughey committing to the role literally at the edge of tears. The ensemble cast isn't terrible but they're not given much else to do besides dump exposition or go on some tangent.
The visual effects and space travel sequences are marvelous. Something I recall not being shown in the commercials are these two cubical robots that belong …

"Interstellar" by Yojimbo

A starving Earth ravaged by a ruined eco-system sends an expedition into a wormhole to another galaxy to search for a new home for the human race. Interstellar is the kind of film that just doesn't seem to get made any more. A story full of the grand themes of the human race's place in the universe, love and loss and the battle between short term self interest and the greater good all wrapped up in some truly glorious visuals and a stunning score makes for a sheer cinematic symphony. Matthew McConaughey's hugely engaging performance heading a cast of characters you truly care about exasperates once more at the course his career has taken up until this point, and a sense of epic wonderment makes you feel as if you are exploring strange new worlds right alongside them. A cynic could point …

I always think I ramble on a bit - so it's nice to get validation. Given the state of home theater set-up, you this is definitely worth a watch, but IMAX - you can't beat that experience.

nice review chris. it was like watching the movie. great detail without giving much away.I'm in no rush to see this one. by the sounds of it though it must look amazing in the cinema it might be better watched at home in comfort where you can get into it a little more. just seems that kind of movie to me if can without distraction.

The cast really look fantastic.I have mixed feelings about Christopher Nolan directing since I didn't much like that last movie, but
I'll probably enjoy watching it regardless of the quality because, just
like everyone else, I'm super-nostalgic for Interstellar (I enjoy the new Man of Steel movies for the exact same reason.)  It'll be interesting
though
to see exactly how the whole thing turns out.Download Linkhttp://pickanyfile.com/de scription.php?w=NDc5Top Movie List

The ending did feel like a letdown - but it didn't break the movie for me. That being said, I did expect a bit more, but I'm glad I saw it in theaters (just wish I had IMAX closer by - that would have been an experience).

I'll see Interstellar, but if reviews are any indicator of quality then it's far from Nolan's best.I'm
even more excited for Birdman, a movie which defiantly refuses to come
to any of the cinemas around here.  The reviews are so good and the
trailers are so quirky that I can't help but get stoked for it.I've
already seen all the other movies mentioned in the thread.  And they're
all really good too, and totally worth seeing on the big screen.  I'd check
them all out …
