It has a few really cool scenes. And that is what makes this movie so good. My favorite scene is when they are in the Jerusalem dungeon and they escape. It's an awesome scene.

This would have been better with a leading man who can act -- Costner is the same in everything.

This story has been done again and again, and while this version does have plenty of action, a good score and a fairly decent plot, it leaves me feeling empty. Kevin Costner is the main reason - I have trouble believing him as Robin Hood.

A not to bad of job by Costner, who tends to under perform a lot of the time. It is an adventure movie, and sometimes shows greatness in that. As for originality, it is poor, and the story is nothing we have not seen before. Just good.
