Yes, this movie is 22 years old, yes, it's taken me this long to see this film. And, well...I can hardly say that it was worth the wait. It was just a pretty average film. It had a huge star, in fact probably the biggest star of the time in Kevin Costner (who goes back in fort between a bad British accent and a southern drawl so many times throughout that it becomes comical), that lady who was in every movie of the early 90's (Mastrantonio), the next big thing (Slater), a young-ish Morgan Freeman, and one of my favorite actors Alan Rickman, but even that star power couldn't save this film from a terrible script.

However, without this film we would've never had the biggest song of 1991 Everything I Do (I Do It for You) by everyone's favorite Canadian Bryan Adams. So, it's got that going for it. And yet, the people loved everything to do with this film, it was the 2nd highest grossing film of the year, behind T2 and like I said before, the theme song was the Billboard #1 song of the year. Sometimes people are idiots.
