After re-watching this movie recently, as an adult, I can say that it doesn't hold up. The story will only make some sense to those who watched the show, but it's been so long that my memory of it has been erased. I can only scratch my head at the numerous characters, pieced together plot (from three separate stories) and fast talking exposition. The animation is visually good and there is more than plenty of action, but everything else is just a confusing bore. A movie for the young fans of the time and NO one else.
