After watching the similarly-themed Super, I was expecting something along those lines, but God Bless America, while still a satire, it pretty darn dark and bleak. It's more like Natural Born Killers - a lot of killing, so much so that the message the film is trying to send drowns in a sea of blood and a hail of bullets.

A black satire that has a message to it's violence. It may meander and not quite reach the level that I was expecting, but it still delivers great laughs and never pulls it's punches. If nothing else, the violence serves as a cathartic sense of satisfaction.

Frank Murdoch (Joel Murray) is fed-up of pop culture, talk radio, and internet videos that is realistically crazy these day of age. Truly dark, gruesome and disturbing, scenes with soundtracks felt like a music video. Humor was ...
