Tony Fait's daughter was kidnapped (DMX) while Su (Jet Li) searches for the stones. The plot was interesting enough, so was th performances and action sequences. Supporting cast irritates though with a few scenes that had no impact on the story. Soundtrack was upbeat and pace just sufficient. Humor was forced and viewing Tom Arnold again was just not pleasing. The kid trying to drive the van, midget and MMA fighting, the chases, etc. Li and DMX could have had a better screenplay. Cradle 2 the Grave is better than most action flicks, a few tweaks would have been more likable.

Below average action movie that doesn't make good use of Jet Li's talents. DMX just shouldn't be in a movie.

Very good movie with a very good plot. I think jet li really didn't fit well in it though. Most of the Dramatic scenes were appropriate and The action scenes were believable. This movie would go on my toplist if the plot had more twist and a sad ending.

Cradle 2 the Grave (2003)

The movie's plot focuses on two factors: stolen black diamonds which (sorry to spoil this) turn out to be a form of plutonium that is radioactive enough to power a laser show and DMX's cute little daughter who gets kidnapped.

I find Jet Li charming as the mostly calm, reserved characters he always seems to play but be warned anytime Li is facing the opposition, rest assured the bodies will be flying and I do love to watch him whoop some butt especially when he battles his nemesis, played by Mark Dacascos and there was this scene where Li takes on fifteen or more kick boxers in an illegal fighting circuit! I must admit the man could beat anyone up and make it look as if he never lifted a finger.

Gabrielle Union and Kelly Hu were nice leading ladies, while Anthony Anderson and Tom Ar...
