A story of Edward the vampire and the humane Bella. Mixed reactions were present, either loving the movie or dreading it. Edward Cullen's performance felt dry, Kristen Stewart's display was decent and the cast did well. I enjoyed the Cullen more than the main protagonists. The basis of their love seemed shallow and the action was just there to remove the boredom. Some of the cinematography was pleasant, if only the script was improved. There were entertaining moments, the director could have improved Bella and Edwards foundation for love. The sequels had more action and sense, unfortunately, my feelings for this film is in between. |

Doesn't work as a romance, horror film, or thriller. The characters are mainly pedestrian, mostly staring at each other in faux emotion. Does nothing to enhance the mythology of vampires or bring anything original to the table. In essence, boring. |

Okay, what can I say about this movie besides...AWFUL! Horrible acting(that continues throughout the entire series), directing, dialogue, even the lighting seems to be just terrible. I had to fight the urge to scream and run away when I saw this in theaters. I don't understand how anyone can watch or enjoy this movie. Pattinson is a majorly overrated actor, who's only reason for even existing in the film world is the horde of screaming bimbos who just don't quite get what a good movie looks like. |

I Heard the Book Was Better... |
|
Well, after being forced reluctantly by some friends into watching this movie, I gave in. It might effect the review, the fact that I was surrounded by oggling, drooling, dumb-founded fangirls through-out the whole movie that is. But I'll give you my opinions anyway.
Now, I have never been a fan of the books, I noticed the book of this came out years back, and now the fangirls have only just been catching on. I myself, have always read books such as 'I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Dexter, Shogun, and the Resident Evil series' and so, I think you may get it when I say 'Twilight' isn't really my thing. So, I can't help but review the movie without help from knowing every fact from the book. Sorry.
So anyway, the movie starts with us meeting Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, she move... |

Twilight, a Mr. E Movie Review |

Twilight, a Mr. E Movie Review
(Run time: 122 min. - Directed by: Catherine Hardwicke - Starring: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner)
I told myself 1. I wasn't going to ever watch Twilight the movie and thus 2. I would never have to review Twilight the movie. BUT, after hanging with a group of my friends, most of which happen to be girls that night, they insisted, know I wrote reviews for movies, I see it after they found out I was the only one not to see it. I tried to resist my prejudices about the films genre that was focused on tween girls but they over powered me. Now, after seeing the movie I have to admit...I liked it.
The story is about a girl named Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, who moves to Forks, Washington to live with her Dad. There she meets Edward... |

twilight rocks my world |
|
When this movie came out i had not heard all the hype and not read the books, the trailer looked ok so i went to see it. Although the story line, effects and acting are nothing groundbreaking i was soon swept up with the story and wanted to go straight back in and watch it. I got home and ordered the books off of the internet, which are obviously written for a younger reader, and even though Meyer's writing is not the best in the world, the story completley absorbed me. I still cannot say what it is about these books or the film that i like so much, but i can't get enough. I am addicted to twilight, and i have to say the casting for the film is perfect, also the soundtrack is one of the best for years. I hope New Moon can live up to it's predicessor. |

Twilight, twilight, I was a lottle bored, this movie to me was pumped up to much. It was an ok movie, I couldn;t watch it twice. It is the same ole kinda vampire fall in love story with a mortal person. The only good thing was it was a modern day story and setting. There were really no action and fighting scenes. I really didn't like it. I will give it a 2/5. But again that's just my opinion. you will probably be better off reading the book. |

twilight. wow, its kind of depressing that so many people are lowering their standards nowadays. i mean, really? like, really? people actually like those books, AND that stupid movie? i just dont get it, are people really that boring and lonely? i could understand it if the book was well written, or if their was great acting/ writing/ directing/ anything... but their wasnt. & i think its safe to say that the little girl in Let The Right One In could TOTALLY kick all the vamps/ werewolfs/ d-bags from twilight's but. |

I'm surprised no one's written anything since last year about this movie. LOVED IT! Seen it too many times already. Read all the books in the series & am excited to see the next ones on the big screen. Not too sure if the directors will do it justice, but it's nice to see it go from book to screen. There are some scenes in the book that I wished had been put in the movie & then there are some scenes in the movie that I liked better than in the book. But overall, great movie & can't wait for the DVD. |

If you haven't read the book, you probably will think the movie is cheesy and over dramatic. |
