American Sniper review

"Do you ever think that... you might have seen things or... done some things over there that you wish you hadn't?" The sotyr revolves around the life of Chris Kyle. It was very detailed so the character development was exceptional. Camera direction was superb as always coming from Eastwood even with once shot as if the camera was shot as well with bullets going thru for that added realism. The supporting cast was great and it all boils down to the acting of Bradley Cooper. Screenplay was outstanding with lines such as "If you think that this war isn't changing you you're wrong. You can only circle the flames so long" "eed you... to be human again." and "There are three types of people in this world: sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs." This was very entertaining from start to finish despite some scenes that felt a bit "Hollywood" like the shot against the other sniper and surviving against the numerous murders of children (unless these actually happened). Nevertheless, this picture truly shows the horrors of war be it for innocent civilians and its soldiers who suffer the horrendous consequences, it also features transformation and importance of life. Definitely one of the best pictures Eastwood have directed.
