Destry review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 12/10/12

A town drunk, Reginald T. "Rags" Barnaby (Thomas Mitchell), was appointed by Mayor Hiram J. Sellers (Edgar Buchanan). Rags asks the aid of Tom Destry (Audie Murphy). A nice quote: “The last impressions important.” – Tom. Brandy’s dance numbers can make the pace dull and lengthy. Action felt choreographed and slow for a western and lacks realism since people get shot without blood spurting. Ending was a bit cheesy and rushed. Destry is a fair western with a few comical moments and decent action.
