The Bourne Legacy review

This could have done well if it were not affiliated with the Bourne series. First few minutes of the film confuses, but picks-up when the "chems" were explained. Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) codenamed "Number Five" is a member of a black ops program wherein "chems" are used to enhance physical and mental abilities. Dr. Marta Shearing (Rachel Weisz) was rescued by Aaron from the attack of undercover CIA assassins. Character development was flighty, Norton's character somewhat uninteresting and lacks screen-time and method of the storytelling could've had more clarity. It's conclusion somewhat unsatisfying which makes the audience wonder there could have been more to offer. Soundtrack was decent but cinematography makes-up for it. Acting was good, action sequences not overdone especially the motorcycle sequences. The Bourne Legacy lacks the impact or emotion that the previous flicks had, it however can stand alone as a smart action movie that could have been presented in a less complex manner.
