The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games review
Katniss Everdeen takes the place of her sister during the games while Peeta Mellark was also selected. So many characters and yet some uninteresting which prolongs the film with dull dialogue. Soundtrack was not effective and enticing while the antagonists were not as challenging enough. With better action and character development, it would have been better in most aspects. It was baffling for this kids to fight like assassins and the lack of detail in terms of the time/era was evidently noticeable. On a positive note, the performance of Jennifer Lawrence was sincere and authentic. The Hunger Games is a descent and sometimes cheese sci-fi whose premise is similar to the more violent/character driven Battle Royale. Unfortunately, this is less entertaining as well.
