London Boulevard review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 02/09/12

Mitchell (Colin Farrell) was just released from prison and asks to be involved in a business with friend Billy (Ben Chaplin). An artist named Charlotte (Keira Knightley) asks Mitch to be her bodyguard to keep away the nosy photographers. Mitchell's stubborn sister with a lot of vices Briony (Anna Friel) becomes part of the conflict between her brother and Rob Gant (Ray Winstone). The soundtrack used was upbeat and Ferrell shows sincerity in his role. A few reservations this reviewer has is the mediocre screenplay, lack of a more structured storytelling and somewhat lousy characters. The conclusion was somewhat disappointing but action filled. Nevertheless, London Boulevard is a descent debut that can be improved upon if given the chance.
