This film triggers a lot of emotions. This is one of the best examples of how you write films based from real lives and events. I am not a wrestling fan, I am not familiar of its culture but the the film's portrayal appears to be genuine and fair. There are moments in the film that I see the sport inappropriate yet I completely understood why for some people, it is their BIG DREAM. It isn't shy to show the "unfair" side of the industry making it possible to show relatable characters and natural human reaction when people devastatingly don't get what they wish for. Nothing special with the direction, cinematography or even production design but I would say that everything perfectly works that you rather see the film as a whole than break it down to specific aspects. In the end, the story shines and the message gets well received by audience like me.
