Amazing movie. I was glad that I finally got a chance to see this in the theater. Jules Dassin knew exactly how to make a movie. This was his last film before he was exiled to Europe during the McCarthy Era, because someone ratted on him for being a Communist. Transportation of fruit has never been so exhilarating. The women in this movie...great characters.
