Good idea executed poorly

I didn't like the vampires. I think they shrieked too much. They were supposed to not talk so much to be scarier. However, they spoke in Romanian and there were subtitles. Apparently they understood English but chose not to speak it.
Josh Hartnett is an okay actor. Melissa George is great - I wish she was in more stuff. The movie was okay. Several jumpy moments. Nice scene at the end.
