The Gun That Went Off

An underrated noir that features Jean Gillie, an actress that died of pneumonia at the age of 33. She is not a great actress, but the film works with her in it. It is a hidden gem, that is sort of reminiscent of Detour (in how it used to be so obscure). Very crazy for its time, how it got past the board of censors, I will never know.
