A Hidden Gem of a Gangster Film

An unexpected masterpiece from Raoul Walsh, this gangster romance/suspense film defies all the odds and keeps everyone guessing. Walsh really likes mixing those genres! I love it!! For one, it has Cary Grant and the funny Bennett sister, Joan (who was also an accomplished dramatic actress). Some of the dialog is a bit on the cheesy side.
