This is an inspiring and touching story about defying the odds and creating your dream. I loved Smith in this film. The chemistry between him and his real life son was moving. What an amazing story. |

Please Just Go Away |
|
This movie made me cry...no, not cry...it made me weep, sob, and wail like a 10 year old girl who just discovered she's going to be miserable the rest of her life. Yes...that much. The scene in the public train station restroom was nothing short of tear-wrenching. Will Smith is amazing and this movie proves that he has range as well as box-office cred. Highly recommended. |

As luck would have it, he applies as an intern at a financial brokerage firm. With no tertiary education and only a d... |

The performances glide it along |
|
There is forced and often unbelievable sentiment and poor narration to be found (as virtually anything that can go wrong for Will Smith does), but the performances work and the premise of following your dream hits home more often than not. Final Grade: B- |
