For a movie that says "one enormous action sequence after another" on the cover I was horribly disappointed. The action sequences are incredibly short and there was really only one that I thought was well done. The giant epic battle at the end got glazed over by narration and was only three minutes long. For a battle that lasted 100 days and 100 nights 3 minutes seems kinda short to me. Also I thought it kind of odd that a movie set in Asia about Asian tribes had two hispanic males in the lead roles. I have to believe that there were Asian actors who would have been willing to play these parts. On the good side thought the acting was solid, the plot was interesting and some of the scenery was downright beautiful. That doesn't make up however for the horrible fights scenes and the just ove... |
