One of my favorite PIXAR movies. Then again, all PIXAR movies are my favorite PIXAR movies. They just can't do wrong (besides Cars 2).

Continuing with its streak of magical creations, Pixar invents an involving and fascinating world of monsters who hid in closets and under beds. The duo of Mike and Sully are among some of Pixar's most beloved creations and, amid the clever sight gags and stunning visuals, the film also tugs at the heartstrings quite a bit.

"We have a Twenty-three nineteen!"

Even though the premise of Monsters Inc. has been done before (monsters scaring kids and coming back to an office environment), this adds it's own creativity to it. It creates it's own world, it's own characters, and it's own reason to scare kids.

James P. Sullivan "Sulley" (John Goodman) and Mike Watzowski (Billy Crystal) are a monster duo that scare kids for the company that they work for, Monsters Inc. They need the screams of children because the screams power everything in their world. However, they're in tough competition with Randall (Steve Buscemi) for the most scares. The monsters one weakness though, is that they believe that kids are incredibly contagious and that one touch can kill you. When a little girl enters their world, chaos ensues and Sulley and Mike have t...

One of Pixar's winners....

In preparation for the much anticipated release of the 'Monsters Inc." prequel " Monsters University" which arrives no later than June 21st (May I add the day before my son's b-day so guess what he wants to see...win win situation for me) 2013 The kids and I decided it would be cool to watch my Blu-ray copy of the film. There are a handful of animated films that come out each and every year and only a couple seem to make their way into the Kyle dvd collection and Monsters Inc. is one of em. No matter how many times I view this film it never gets stale as it always brings joy and laughter into our hearts time after time. Walt Disney's Pixar crew spared no eye popping color and CGI animated brilliancy delivering this one as they bring to us the story of what actually lurks behind those dar...
