Great adaption of a great book. Although some of the plot was cut, this film still remains true to the spirit of the story.

I always wanted to read the book "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte, but I never could because of how old fashioned it was. So when I found out there was a movie, I went to see it, because old movies I can stand. So, I watched it, and it was nothing special. It was really interesting early in the movie when Jane Eyre was a young girl, and she was at the strict boarding school, but once she grew up it just got boring.

For a Jane Eyre adaption it is okay. I usually really love Charlotte Gainsbourg, here she was not quite right for the part of Jane Eyre (in my opinion), but from all the actors she fitted the best. But what really bothered me was the backdropish (if there is such a thing) look of the movie. You could see how cheap and ragged everything was done.
