Much like many other movies based upon television shows, this one butchered the theme and feeling of the TV show. While most people would complain that the biggest change is involving race, I don't feel that the change was what hindered the movie. The biggest problem is that this movie could have been made without ever using the Honeymooners name. There isn't really anything that separates this movie from the other Cedric the Entertainer movies. Granted while the plot lines may not be the same as "Johnson Family Vacation" the jokes and everything involved around the story are stale. While this might have been original and amusing in the early to mid 80's this movie isn't one worth dealing with.
