Cheap drama. A waste. I just kept watching to see if I was right about my predictions of how things were going to end. Well, a totally predictable movie. You haven't seen it? You're not missing anything. |

I'll Hold Back From Throwing Stones @ the Producer |
|
This was an okay movie. I didn't hate this. I am still completely confused as to why they all spoke sign language to each other. If anyone has the answer to that feel free to let me know. But overall, it didn't suck. Maybe Sarah Jessica Parker did, actually. She was kind of awkard in this role. |

Stone the Stones |
|
An obtuse holiday comedy with a gallery of spiteful characters; the fact that we're supposed to believe all the relationships that develop or sympathize with the film's closing moments involving Diane Keaton are proof the writer and director do not respect their audience enough. Humbug! Final Grade: C- |

Not A Typical Christmas Movie |
|
This movie is about a Family with all adult children coming together at Christmas time. Each member of this family has something that makes him or her unique, but they all still manage to love each other. This movie is sweet, perfect to watch with your family during the holidays, and always makes me cry. I like that this family has its faults. The Waltons they are not. |

Not real funny |
|
The Stones are a well-knit family with very different, but really close members. However, when one of them brings in a drastically different person whom he wants to marry, their world is overturned.
The first thing you will notice in this film is that it's not as comedic as the promos may lead you into believing. There are some somewhat humorous moments, none of which are hilarious.
The cast itself, is really good. Sarah Jessica Parker, Craig T. Nelson and others really work well with one another. None of cast were a bad mix from what I could tell.
The script itself is a bit weak in my opinion. I couldn't connect with any of the cast. The jokes were fairly weak, and might have produced a slight chuckle.
The scenery was a little boring. The director didn't use the house tha... |
