Plot Outline:

A BBC mini-series based on Jane Austen's 1813 novel of the same name, Pride and Prejudice centres around Elizabeth Bennet and her four sisters: Jane, Mary, Kitty and Lydia. When charismatic and eligible bachelor Mr Bingley moves into the neighbourhood, he brings along his proud and condescending friend, Mr Darcy. While Bingley and Jane Bennet become close, Darcy has trouble adapting to the social graces of the countryside and his manners do not endear him to the locals, least of all Elizabeth.
