Plot: After moving into a new house, a family finds a cache of old VHS tapes in the attic. The family on the tapes are going through a paranormal event - one that seems to tie into their own family. If a franchise ends and no one cares, does it make a sound? I watched this mostly out of obligation, as I had seen all the previous films but Ghost Dimension is an ignoble end to what started as a fresh idea, but quickly turned stale and sour. The biggest mistake is actually showing the demon - I don't care what anyone says, fear of the unknown is always scarier than anything Hollywood can come up with. Otherwise this film throws out all the tropes from previous films and makes you wonder how it could have survived this long.

The 'Activity' Concludes... Terribly

'The Ghost Dimension' is, without a doubt, the worst of the 'Paranormal Activity' series thus far. And it's hopefully the last. When you put out one new movie a year (almost) consecutively, you're going to run out of ideas fast. This supposed finale has the distinction of churning out every single trope/cliche from this franchise in the laziest fashion. It's an exact copycat of all the worst parts from the previous sequels. The ONLY new addition present is the 3D, which surprisingly looks good. It's the one thing in the whole movie that I would consider to be well done. The characters here are simultaneously the smartest and the absolute dumbest of the entire series. They manage to figure out the ongoing mysteries of the other films before the first half is over, yet they still …
