Let me start off with saying that I am crazy about the Berserk series. I love everything about it, therefore I loved this movie, and I'm sure I will love the other ones. You most likely won't enjoy this all that much unless you have either seen the original anime series or read the manga. Preferably the manga, as it includes much more detail than the movie and the anime. As for the movie, the visuals are great. This style of animation surprisingly works very well with Berserk in my opinion. I do miss the original soundtrack from the anime, however. I did think that this was much too short, and they had to cut some things out. I still enjoyed it very much.
