The Good Doctor is a story of how a doctor falls in love with a patient and tampers with her treatment so that she would have to stay in the hospital close to him. A hospital employee discovers the doctors actions and manipulates him into giving him drugs or else the employee will report the doctor to the police.
Everything wrong with The Good Doctor can be blamed on the director. The actors try their best, but the pacing of the movie is drawn out, creating awkward silences that do not fit the scene. There is a lack of attempt to make the viewer feel for the characters, therefore care for the outcome of the film. The ending has to be the absolute worst ending in any film I have watched...yes, even worse than Knowing and The Mist
