Hilariously dumb Arnie vehicle that's wall-to-wall gratuitous violence and incredibly moronic one liners. It actually contains the lines "F*** you, asshole!" "No, f*** YOU asshole!" So bad, it's almost good! |

Back in the day when action movies reigned supreme. You have the Rambo's, Predators, Aliens, etc. Then you have Commando which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and the rest. I remember this to have some cool action scenes and spiffy guns used. Could have been better with a smarter screenplay. Still, if you dig guns, action and explosions, this could be worthwhile for you. |

There's a lot of fun action to be had, but not much character to hold it up. This is like Rambo Lite and, without the emotion behind the violence, it gets pretty mindless at times. |

If you want the most badass Schwarzenegger action movie, look no further. It's full to the brim with hard hitting, explosive action scenes. Arnold is a killing machine. |

Commando is one of my favorite action movies. A must for action fans even though its kind of campy and over the top and low budget. |

A pretty good action movie |
|
"John Matrix" (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a retired colonel in an elite special military unit, now lives in a secluded mountain home with his young daughter (Alyssa Milano). They have a great relationship and are living peacefully -- until a military helicopter lands on their property.
On board the chopper, along with some armed soldiers, is "Matrix's" former commander, "General Kirby" (James Olsen), who informs him that the members of "Matrix's" former unit are being killed. He leaves "Matrix" and his daughter with the two armed soldiers, and, as he and his daughter are about to go back into their home, he notices some branches in a bush move. Seconds later, a man pops out of the bush and begins shooting, killing one of the soldiers and wounding the other in the shoulder.
